The Classic Marvel Figurine Collection

I've collected loads of things in my life. My main collection comprises of fantasy and movie figures going back quite a few years.

I always loved the very expensive sculptures and lead cast figures you get in fantasy shops but the price is enough to put you off. Tiny little busts of your favourite characters usually start for about £40 and the price just goes up and up to hundreds if not thousands.
So when I saw an advert saying that there was to be a series of Marvel lead cast figurines and that the price was to be only £5.99 each and £9.99 for special releases, I knew I would have to start collecting them. Each issue is fortnightly and they were, up until last week going to just release 80 figures but because of how successful they have been they are releasing 100, plus several more special larger characters.

The special larger characters up until now have been, The Hulk and Juggernaut, the next special for release is Colossus in October, they are just that bit bigger and obviously to scale, so they use more lead. Good thing is no one under 14 is allowed to buy them, so it's demonstrating that this is mostly an adult collection.

Any hoo I've pasted some pics of where they are up to and actually beyond, the current collection is up to Ultron, but the photographs just show up to Dr. Strange

Even the HULK reciting Shakespeare can't spoil the power of his words.

The only figures I have collected are from Metal Gear Solid 2, I have three from the Konami collection in gun metal grey. I have Snake, Revolver and Raidon.

I do keep meaning to purchase the set but never get around to it.

Here is a link to the painted versions

I forgot to add these specials, the specials are to scale with the rest of the collection although being made to scale they are bigger than the rest and cost a little bit more, £9.99 if you buy them from a shop or £8.99 if you place an order with the company.

The Juggernaut was sold out in only a couple of weeks and even people who had placed orders have had difficulty getting it because of such a high demand. Think it was because when the Juggernaut came out so did X Men Three that week and everyone liked the Vinnie Jones character so much everyone wanted one.

Some new photographs of up and coming figurines, Nightcrawler looks exceptional, will have to watch I don't knock his tail off, FNARR FNARR!!!

Emma Frost.

Think the Classic Marvel collection is playing down her sexuality somewhat. These statutes give a more accurate representation of her character and the last pic.... put it this way Jack Bauer won't be pleased Wink
