Actor Heath Ledger has died 
Actor Heath Ledger, who has been found dead at the age of 28, was regarded as Hollywood's brightest young stars, with a string of acclaimed films behind him and a major career ahead. The death of such an admired star at such a young age will cause huge shock among fans, the media and the movie industry. He shot onto the A list less than three years ago with a lead role in the universally acclaimed Brokeback Mountain, which proved he could shine in emotionally challenging roles as well as comedies and action films. Poor Terry Gilliam has no luck...... Ledger was also thought to be in the middle of filming The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, a new fantasy movie with former Monty Python member Terry Gilliam. Set and shot in modern London, it is the tale of a travelling theatre that takes the audience into a parallel universe..... how many films must TG start and never finish...I've never known a director with such bad luck 
Ledger will be sadly missed

When I first read about this yesterday I thought someone was making a sick joke until I saw it posted on an official news site.
It's tragic that he died so young, I'm sure he'd have gone onto even greater success. What does sicken me is the thought that some people are planning to use his death to promote their religious ideology: http://blog.newhumanist.org.uk/20...o-baptist-church-will-picket.html Whoever is organising that picket obviously doesn't give a damn about the suffering his friends and family are going through at the moment. |

A very good actor, very versatile - whether playing a knight, teenager or gay cowboy. Such a shame at any age, let alone 28. |
