“It was great to work on a project where the emphasis was on the creative process and the use of imagination. I felt it freed me up as an artist to learn from mistakes and to take more risks in the approach to teaching film making.”
(Quote from filmmaker and former successful bursary recipient.)
The scheme is open to individuals working with a variety of media - including video, film, animation, sound, web-based work, gaming technologies, radio. You do not need to have experience of working in schools but you do need to have an established film or arts practise and an interest in working with young people in school settings.
