Black SheepA New Zealand-made film very much in the style of Shaun of the Dead. Radioactive evil zombie sheep terrorise a small farm. Great fun, with echoes of everything from An American Werewolf in London to Father Ted.

Dunno how early it starts, but our showing was 20:50 tonight, nothing later. It's only a 15.

Don't do it. This film is a pile of sheep S***! Thought it would have been when I saw it was made by New Zealand people. It's absolutely stupid! It makes a B movie look good! Kinda like an A movie.

I'm not a fan of Tolkien's stuff, but that doesn't mean that the movies are bad. Peter Jackson had a tough job to do - convert a book so popular, that it'll regulalry outsell the Bible, into a series of epic movies. The fact that the films are so well received, particularly by fans of the books, shows how good they are.

Not forgetting the sheer amount of work and effort that went into producing 3 epic movies back to back. Say what you will about the story, I thought it was fantastic personally, but when you look at the skill, talent and commitment of all of the people involved, you can't deny they did a fantastic job.

Philster,
Dont say a word about PJ. He did a good job with King Kong as well.
However whoever said this film was good should be shot. I laughed at it, because it was SOOO stupid. I walked out of it after a while. FF stayed until the end as she is a big horror fan, but she thought this was comical to.
To think I went to see this instead of Ratatouille!

I have to agree with the others phil. How can you dis some one like PJ. PJ rocks. Whether it be Bad Taste, Brian Dead, Meet the Pheebles, Frightners, LOTR trilogy or king kong this man and his team deserve credit.
It's film directors like him who start off low budget and give young filmmakers the encouragment to go ahead and make great films. Yeah so they might be corney and daft, but hey who cares. Most people watch his flicks and are amazed at how well they are done. Now he has the ability to do what he pleases. His up there with the best of them.
Did anybody else hear that PJ, FW and the weta team are in talks with bungie about making Halo the film? That would be one to see. I think they're gonna have a pretty tough time though trying to get the rights

Peter Jackson is an incredible and passionate director. The "Bad Taste" making is one of the most inspiring makings I have ever seen, the ingenuity to achieve the shots and special effects are so ingenious .... His mum and dad were making beans on toast for the friend crew members and PJ is standing in his bedroom telling us about who inspired him and how he was going to get over shooting problems, due to no budget ... He made and still makes films cos he loves making them and not for the money ... but now he has got money he's doing everything he can to please his audience, and personally I don't feel let down 1%

Guys and girls, you all reacted how I thought you would. I actually think Peter Jackson is quite a good director. Wasn't keen on his early stuff personally. However, he did do a fantastic job with Bored, I mean Lord Of The Rings trilogy. Although I only ever saw the first two. Never got around to watching the 3rd but I know what happens. The thing what I've hated with PJ's recenty films is that they are tooooo bloody long! Granted, Lord Of The Rings can be forgiven considering the size of the book but King Kong, give me a break. The original was great but the remake was a bit of a disappointment. The film took ages to get into and I ended up watching it in bits because I got bored with the beginning. The CGI in places was bad as well. PJ has a great future with his accomplishments. He started off like most directors, Sam Raimi is another that started low budget and now he's doing the Spiderman ones. I have respect for PJ for what he's done.
Neil, what's Brian Dead, think you mean Brain Dead. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Hi Carl. Do you know where I can get a version of the making of bad taste? It's not on the d.v.d that's available and I would love to see it.
