I think if David Lynch made a Vampire or Horror Movie it would scare the pants off everyone and become an instant cult hit.
We watched Eraserhead and The Grandmother at Uni, and every night for about two weeks I would dream I was giving birth to this deformed child. I was also living in this house where my evil father was rubbing my head into the sodden bed clothes. I just have boring dreams now.

I agree if DL made a Horror it would probably get the same response as The Exorcist did when it first came out, even his thrillers have scared me, Lost Highway creeped me out especially the telephone conversation.
