DeathproofI'm not quite sure what to make of Tarantino's latest offering.
On the plus side, it smacks of Tarantino. It's stylish, detailed, sexy, with the trademark bluster and reality that made Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs such good movies.
However, the plot is quite thin. It's high-concept, which I don't think suits Tarantino's no-stone-unturned approach. Because of this, there's too much detail going into too little of the story.
It's worth a look, though. Particularly because of the end bit. I wont spoil it, but it's good.
