DraculaI've said it before, and I'll say it again.
I wish someone would make a proper adaptation of Dracula, which mirrors the book. The book is written in such a way that it should be fairly easy - each chapter is a diary entry, or suchlike. With voiceovers (as utilised in Hammer's 1958 adaptation), there should be no problem.
My only concern is that it might be quite long, so a TV serial rather than a film might be a better idea. So not one for anyone hoping to make a Francis Ford Coppola-eqsue blockbuster (I didn't care much for his version, for the record)
But it's such a good book that I think it deserves the proper treatment from the Film.TV industry. None of the mojor adaptations so far have done it much justice, although I'd consider Hammer's version as the best.
