Henry Bates

Favourite Horror

So what is your favourite? Here is a list of ones I like in no particular order:

Friday The 13th
Halloween
Nightmare on Elm Street
The Ring
The Thing
The Fog
The Grudge
Blair Witch Project

I prefer the intelligent horrors though. Hated the sequels only the original of the above.
Wolf

Very Happy I like all of the above, Schock (1977) also called Beyond The Door is my favorite horror movie.

Did not expect it to be as scary as what it was.

Best ever (IMHO)...Sleepy Hollow. Johnny Depp's best film.

I also like

Dracula: Prince of Darkness (Christopher Lee)
Frankenstein (James Whale's 1931 groundbreaker)
Arachnophobia (Spiders...cool)
The Wicker Man (Often quoted as Britain's best horror)
The Omen (The first one)
Philster

Couldn't do the vote thing that Carl posted because there's a few I like. Most of Henry's are good ones. I even liked a lot of the sequels. He missed the likes of Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer. However, Blair Witch, ARE YOU INSANE? The biggest pile of s*** since Crash! The concept had potential but was done poorly. The acting was terrible, etc. Not saying anymore about it.

Not keen on The Thing either. Omen 2 is worth watching but The Final Conflict was a disappointment.
