Carl, please don't tell me you believed all of those clips. There are maybe 2 or 3 at most which aren't obvious set ups. The rest I'm sure you could probably easily recreate one afternoon if you were bored. |

 I didn't say they were real, I just said it might shock and scare you, and when I was watching it I was quite edgy as it was dark and the room door was open and the landing was in complete darkness (I've got a good imagination) Any hoooooo ....... I was looking at it as reference material for "Forged Hearts" theres a haunting scene in it, just trying to get some ideas.....
Have to admit I did pi** myself laughing at the one where the clock falls off the wall, you can still see the thing turning that was holding it up  but the child ghost bit is scary.

You mean Japanese the one at the end in the mirror? That is creepy. Not 100% sure how they managed that one to be honest. |

Well Carl you would be no good walking round the Civic all night in the dark. I dont believe in ghosts but strange things I can tell you walking around there when I first started. On the 4th floor, doors open as you pass them, this happened for months, eventually I walked in to a room held my hands up and said, "ok what now" (expecting some spooky thing to happen) nothing happened but the doors never opened again, very strange. Also a girl working up there herself, only her in the building 4th floor heard voices and felt as though something was in the room. She came to see me downstairs (reception ground floor) to check who was in the building but there was only me. She was very spooked and went home. BTW many months later a woman who works on this floor told me this used to happen when ICT used to work nighshift when I mentioned it to her. I once seen a figure that looked like a teenage boy pass from one corridor to the next, It looked like your typical Hollywood ghost so I laughed it off but it was strange as I know I did see it, I did try to follow it round the corner but nothing, it did not scare me but thought it very odd.. Richard went into the Registrars late one night something grabbed him, nothing in the room but he had finger marks on his leg next day, he hates going into this part of the civic now. He also used to get a lot of door banging for no reason, not wind or air pressure just doors banging until getting sick of it, he shouted "shut up" one night, then it stopped... many people report strange happenings over there and a lot of peeps are very spooked in that area. A large Alsation guard dog would never go down this corridor and it was scarred of nothing, strange thing was the Police sent its own dogs around the building and the same thing, they stopped dead and would not continue. Many cleaners have seen a lady on the first floor and reports of an old civic centre manager by security guards are almost constant. Myself I say yes, bring it on I want to believe, but unfortunately Im still an unbeliever, despite my odd happenings. Get these ghost hunters into the civic, prove to me please. The truth is out there. |

I would have Sh** my pants if that happened to me don't know how you do your job all alone at night.
I will post later about what happened to Richard, as something similar happened to me. |

What happened to me was... I was coming around a corner outside the Washington Galls and something grabbed my arse and pushed me...! there was nothing there ????? no one was anywhere near me, I was completely baffled to what it was! Evidently I'm always on my guard when passing that point.

Honestly I need to really see something before I believe in ghosts and and UFo's. Not seen anything yet. Well not including the above ghosty things, the odd triangular UFo and strange contrails in the sky, apparently off a roger ramjet type of engine. No proof though is there? What I find odd is that now that most have phones that have cameras on board, we actually here less of the paranormal things. Unlike the 90s when video was fashionable. BTW, could the young girl mirror effect not be re-created very easily? Im sure I could do it, despite not anything to do with video nowadays. |
