This point was noted in Kevin Smith's film, Mallrats. Brodie Bruce, played by Jason Lee, points out to his friend that Lois's uterus wouldn't be able to withstand the force of his shooting, and that the only way he could prevent that would be to use a Kryptonite condom - which would kill him.
