ILMIndustrial Light & Magic The Art of Special Effects and Industrial Light + Magic -Into the Digital Realm are probably two of the best special effects books ever, they show and demonstrate the whole history and development of effects in the movie making world.I must admit they are rarther expensive but are completely worth every penny, once you buy them you have them for life, they are so well put together both the books structure and content are a joy to have in your collection. It's all there, everything you want to know about special effects and it's beautifully illustrated making of photographs are from probably some of your favourite movies.
