I totally forgot that's how old he was like. My favorite has always been Rambo: First Blood followed by First Blood part 2....the third one was just too over the top like  . The first film was based on the book 'First Blood' by David Morrell...for those that are interested

I remember reading the original novel of First Blood way back after seeing the movie, and in the novel Rambo dies.

Wow  didn't know they filmed that ending!!.....but I do prefer the ending they released. I think with him being still alive makes a better ending to the film for me.
I've just ordered the book, looking forward to reading it. I wonder if they'll kill him off in this new film...hope not
