New Year TruceNew Year Truce
Some people may wonder why this post is entitled "New Year Truce", well the reason is known to a few who post on this forum. I've had some complaints from both opposing parties.
First it was hisomuhito and oddbodd who complained about Take No Crap and some of his remarks, which I must say were aimed at them. Then it was from TNC, about things said to him by oddbodd and hisomuhito. PM's followed from both parties and I believe from what I've been told some of these PM's were heated. hisomuhito told me he wouldn't participte in a slagging match and stopped reacting to TNC remarks. Only last week did hisomuhito react, and maybe that was his forum prerogative to say what he wanted, thats what forums are supposed to be for..... any hoo TILIS didn't like the way oddbodd and hisomuhito spoke to TNC and I received a PM asking me to ban them both....
The problem is I believe in free speech, but there, I admit are a lot of things I don't like, Bullying, Discrimination, goading and provocation towards people. The list could go on and everyone involved, with say the exception of TILIS, who I agree made an observational criticism, have been guilty in someway of doing some of the above, I myself probably have coverted some of the No No's.
So rather than banning myself and anyone else, I would like to call a New Year Truce and see if everyone involved can get along and communicate amicably, if that is not possible maybe just trying to avoid one another may also work.
I'm sure we can work this out and who knows, you all might be wishing each other a happy new year this year and hopefully next.
Lets see if we can get on like civilised people.
