Nicolas Roeg at the Tyneside Cinema tonight 6th Sept 2008
If your lucky enough to live A. in the UK and B. near Newcastle then you could go and see Nicolas Roeg's new film "Puffball" and meet the director himself.
If your not aware of who Nicolas Roeg is, he is most famous for "The Man Who Fell To Earth" staring David Bowie.
Just as a matter of interest his next project after Puffball was a new "Young Indiana Jones". They must have made a new series to accompany the latest Indi movie.
Also the TV show was written by Carrie Fisher.
Any hoo, 8 o'clock tonight Tyneside Cinema .... could be worth seeing, especially when you visit the link and see images from the movie.

He came in to a full house and I quote..mentioned the floods, how his journey took 5 hrs from London and that they had changed the drivers 5 times, so he had plenty of time to write down what he was going to say to us... so he said.
He then said, "well!, we all come from wiggly things and we are here for a bit and then we go and that's not to bad....Ok I'll let you watch the film and make your own minds up !"
When the movie had finished we waited for him to come back in....he wasn't coming back in...that was it !!!!
He had travelled for 5 fu***ng hrs to introduce his film and thats all he said !!!!!
Any hoo the film was ok, I'll write a propper review when I get time and the wiggly things wont come into it.
