Corrrrrr, looks VVVVVVery good, Johnny Depp has me creased when he's running away from the tribe who are pursuing him, he's very good at comedy and Jack Sparrow is a perfect vehicle for his comedic antics.

His comedy antics are fab in Benny and Joon - he does a bunch of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin impressions, and very well too. Can't wait for the next Pirates though

What can I say about it............ well...... even Jonny Depp’s running is good.... well especially JD's running because have you ever seen a hero character run like that  he certainly steals the show (what an actor)
I knew when it reached the end they had made two and three back to back, the thirds due out next year, it’s in post as we speak, I did a little checking as It couldn't leave you hanging for long so 2007. 
Must say it’s some of the best CG character animation I've ever seen, it really leaves even the newest Star Wars movies in the shade. It’s scary what rendering machines are out there and what they can do. The CGI is in your face and not in the bad sense, it’s there only a few inches from camera and it’s there for long periods of time, acting it’s socks off along with the other living actors. We really are in for a treat over the coming years. I think new and appealing actors who don’t really exist except in the computer are going to be as much a part of movie making as any flesh and blood actor. What a movie making future we have to look forward to. |
