Very dark in comparison to the first two and not so funny as well, everything looks very real, beautiful and sometimes scary as Shrek isn't just a bright green Ogre no more, he's a very real and incredibly textured creature, just look at the hairs on his chest. Don't get me wrong it's incredibly made, it is very entertaining but not for the same reasons as the first two, theres not as much to the story and what is isn't aimed at a very young audience, a lot of the issues in the story are more adult ... there was a lot of kids there today aged about 4 to 8 and they were board and that didn't happen when I saw the first two ..... when you see it you will see what I'm talking about (Very good but the story isn't as good as the first two)
