Set in the late 21st century, a subculture of humans have emerged who have been modified genetically by a vampire-like disease (hemophagia), giving them enhanced speed, incredible stamina and acute intelligence. As they are set apart from "normal, healthy" humans, the world is pushed to the brink of worldwide civil war (a war between humans and hemophages) aimed at the destruction of the diseased population. In the middle of this crossfire is an infected woman, Ultraviolet (played by Milla Jovovich), who finds herself protecting a nine-year-old boy who has been marked for death by the human government as he is believed to be a threat to humans. I noticed Milla Jovovich is doing "Resident Evil: Extinction", should be good as I enjoyed both of the other movies, don't think they are everyone's cup of tea, but I enjoyed the games, so I'm bias.

Is this in any way related to the Brit TV series of the same name that was out a few years back? Never did see the whole thing but what I did see looked good. | ||||||

Just managed to download this from a DVD rip as it's been in the States for a while.

I remember that show 
Watched all of it I think - was good. As for if this movie is related i dont know - apart from the obvious similarities in the name and tha fact it has vampires in it; probably 'related' in the same way Underworld was to the Vampire RPG by White Wolf. - ie - a design concept rip off. |

Just for the record Oddbodd, DVDrip is not a pirate even though it is associated with it. It can be used for backup purposes as well. I'm not going to even bite with the comments Oddbodd said about me funding terrorism because it's old hat! |

YUCK!!!! What a horrible thought!!! Me lick Captain Jack/ Johnny Depp's boots. I wouldn't dream of it. He's not that honoured. You're totally sick Oddbodd for thinking that. It should be him licking mine, not that I would allow that either.
As much as I like Johnny Depp as an actor, you can keep him Oddbodd. You'll probably find the list very short for licking his boots. You maybe the only one on his list. |
