Hi FF,

I never did judge H by his cover, if I had, would I have continued talking to him!!!!.
I can tell H is all bravado with nothing to back it up. Realistically from what I can see, his alter ego is probably the more approachable and easiest to communicate with, so who knows I may one day be able to finally talk to the real H and not his hormone induced alias.

It's a pity H never did. Exclamation
I get someone to point to a newspaper for me and he bases a whole point of view from it by thinking it was me. I'm not that silly H, I tested you and it was a good indicator of just how shallow you are.

Sting or no sting I doubt you'll learn anything from it.

Ok, I think this has gone a bit too far now. I really didn't want this to go any further for the sake of Carl's forum but after whats been said above I think it only fair that I have a chance to respond.

I've always been of the opinion that you shouldn't air your dirty laundry in public, if I have a problem with someone thats between myself and that person and as far as I'm concerned. That in mind I'm just going to say enough to respond to some key points made above and beyond that I'll leave it to PMs.

Firstly, I think some people have been taking things a bit seriously.
In general I was having a bit of a laugh and doing some "harmless" flirting, which everyone seemed to be enjoying. Occasionally I would post somethings as H which were not necessarily my own beliefs but were still valid opinions which I put forward to provoke a reaction in the hope of generating some discussion.

All I'll say in response to Sylvester's comment is that it isn't exactly how I remember it. I never made any direct personal comments about you.

And Piper, I personally think the best way to find out what a person is really like is to get to know them directly not going through their friends.

You both talk about not judging a book by its cover, from my point of view the only person who has actually been open minded enough to do that is FF and I would like to thank her for her comments.

The internet is probablly the worst medium for determining a persons real personality. I've had first hand proof of this last weekend.
A bunch of people on another forum I go on had a meet up which I went along to. I'd say the vast majority of the people who turned up were nothing like I expected them to be. The one thing everyone did have in common was they were all great people and happy to take people as they found them.

And finally for those of you who haven't worked it out already (i.e. Jonny Wink ) I've posted this as Nige instead of H so I could be sure it was taken seriously.

I have yet to decide whether H will return. We will just have to wait and see.

I want to say a few words in nige’s defence. I've know nige now for quite a few years and he's one of the nicest people you could be friends with, he will do anything for you and he is always up for a good laugh.

I remember the time when I heard him swear for the first time, I was in shock because nige is very nice 99% of the time and like anyone he is allowed 1% of being H.

So lets all put this behind us and get back to the beatitude and fun, the summer is upon us in the UK and we can shed our six layers of clothing and let the wind blow around our ankles and other things (ooer missus)

So lets hear no more of this tomfoolery and get back to talking about what makes us happy. Very Happy

Hi Peeps

Sorry I haven't posted for a while but some of you know my circumstances and would like to thank everyone for their sentiments. I'm OK and things are starting to get back to normal, especially after a very stressful time and string of disasters I won't go into. The amount of things you have to do after someone has died is unbelievable. It goes to show that nice people are on this forum and why I like posting on it.

However, there seems to have been a bit fun since I last posted and a kiljoy on the forum. Carl, sorry to mention this as you wanted closure on the H thing but I would like to say something considering H/Nige is one of my oldest friends and have know him probably longer than anyone else on the forum. I don't like people making accusations against friends without the facts being listened to.

Nige/H and I have been friends for a long time and I mean a long time, half of our lives practically. I like a bit of fun and that's what Nige was doing with H as he mentioned. Without going over all of this again, I just want to say how disappointed I am in a certain person, Sylvester. Piper is no angel either but she wasn't as bad. As Carl said, Nige/H is a good friend and one of the most helpful and friendly people I know regardless of any faults he has. We all have them, especially me. You made a judgment without getting to know the real person and, also, the real history of why H was born. It hurts me to say this but you say he's shallow minded Sylvester, what about you? You certainly seem narrow-minded. Forgive me ladies for saying this but I don't mean this in a sexist way but Sylvester's response was that from most typical women. Jump the gun without hearing the full story. It is not a sexist comment but a well known fact. Even women admit it. However, we blokes are not innocent either. I think it was good of Nige to come clean about H but H will be missed. I vote for H to come back and entertain us which he seemed to do by everyone's account.

The only thing left to say is let's put all of the crap behind us and have a good old banter session as well as fun on the forum. Life is short, we should enjoy it. You don't realise what you miss until it's gone. Let's make the most of it. By the way, I'm putting a game on another forum of guess the famous quotes soon so have a go at it.

Well the cat is out of the bag as they say. Well done Nige for admitting to H. That shows a true test towards the person you are. As Philster says, I hope H returns. However Philster glad to see your getting back to normal after the death of your father and your comment against women was a little off. I see wear you are coming from, but have to disagree. Men are worse than women for jumping the gun in my experience. Thought the comment was a little sexist. However I do agree Sylvester and Piper should have gotten to know the story behind H before casting comments especially Sylvester, but if nige was just nige would the other women have talked to him.

Anway I off out later so i beter go and get ready after I try this quote game.

Speak soon all.

Just a quick reply FF. I am not a sexist person and if my comment offended you, I'll apologise but what I said is fact women do tend to jump the gun more than men. I, too, have experience of that. We blokes are not innocent either and jump the gun as well but then isn't you statement a little bit sexist.

I'm not going to get into an arguement or fallout over this but both sexes are as bad as each other, whatever it is.
