Thought Id start this one seen as no one has yet.  Over a week ago, Derrin correctly predicted the Wednesday numbers, then he explained it on the Friday, if thats what you can call it, how he did it.

I have to admit that I found Derrin Brown quite entertaining in the past, but this was too much.  His explanation of "deep maths" was not convincing at all.  Does he think people are thick? There's no such thing.  After seeing the YouTube guy explain how he did it, I now know Derrin is a fraud.

Mad Yes! he used blinking split screen the cheat, they tried to cover it up making the framed image move, but the movement was just added to the broadcast signal. He cost me a blinking pound as I wasted it on the supposed numbers that he supposedly were sublimially hidden in his lead up vid.

Mad DB I don't like you, as you are not really magic like  David Copperfield is, even though you are  an illusionist  Very Happy

He is indeed a fraud, Chloe.  Perhaps the most honest fraud about, oddly.  Normally, He'd do something like this and then give the actual explanation.  Trouble is, the truth is probably very prosaic, something like Carl's explanation.

Having seen much of Derren's work, and read his book, I'm certain of two things:  This wasn't any sort of prediction of the lottery numbers, and his explanation was rubbish.  The Deep Maths thing is probably right when he's talking about the thing with the coin flipping, but Automatic Writing is the sort of thing he often tries to debunk.

As a result, the show wasn't entertaining to me.  I was expecting a very clever explanation, instead we got something too cryptic that's probably intended to cover up something quite boring.

Last night's show was similarly disappointing.  I hope the series as a whole won't be.

His current live show, however is very good, and I'd recommend it.

This guy is a total wanker!

It was obvious that he is a tosser, because he doesn't know what "deep maths" reals is.  It's nothing as to what he said it was.  It certainly was NOT deep maths he used.  It was more like mumbo, jumbo, verbal diarrhoea to fool the audience maths!  Never liked this guy, and doubt I ever will.  Rather read a good book.

As adi, the deep maths was just for the coin-flipping, nothing to do with the lottery prediction.

He did give a website address to explain the deep maths involved in the coin flipping; to be honest, I haven't bothered rooting it out, but I'm guessing it'll be valid.

No, Im sure he said he used deep maths as well for the lottery prediction.  But who realy cares. We know its the split screen trick, and thats why he wont do it again.

Must have missed the deep maths thing for the lottery, then.  Wasn't too happy with last week's show, hope tonight's is better,
